In the era of printed electronics, can your labels be electronic?
What is printing electronic technology?
As the name suggests, printed electronics is "printing + Electronics", which uses traditional printing technology to make electronic devices or circuits. Different from the ink used in traditional printing technology, printing electronic technology uses ink with electronic function, and the printed graphics have electronic function.
As early as 2009, printed electronics has become an independent discipline and technology field in the world. In that year, there began to be international academic conferences focusing on printed electronics, namely lopec in Europe and ICFPE in Asia. Since 2009, a number of industrial developed countries, including the European Commission, have started government research programs related to research and development of printing electronic technology, and China's first printing electronic technology research center was officially established in 2010.
How did printing electronics rise?
The vigorous development of printing electronic technology benefits from the development and maturity of inorganic nano material technology. There are two landmark events, one is the successful development of flexible radio frequency tag (RFID) prepared by inkjet printing nano silicon ink announced by American kovio company in 2008, and the RFID based on carbon nanotube and other inorganic nano material inks published by Shuntian University of Korea in 2009 Thesis.
